We are temporarily closed to the public. Our Next Dig Season begins October 1, 2016. Camping sites are available and the gates open at 12 noon on Friday for early arrivals... This is your chance to get involved. Everyone who volunteers to "Dig" or take part in other activities must fill out our four-part Volunteer Questionnaire on their first visit. The form is available on this site (see buttons on the left of front page) and will be available at the archaeology site.... CMAS is located about 15 miles northeast of Barstow, California, off Interstate 15. From the Minneola Road exit, follow the signs north about two miles on graded dirt roads to the site.


Schedule of Operation
Open TO THE PUBLIC Saturdays, 9AM to 4PM.
Dig weekends: Opens Friday 12:00 - Closes Sunday 12:00
Note: Dig weekends are the first FULL weekend of the month, October through May
